Holy place Kurapaty

Kurapaty is a holy place of Belarusan people, where the Russian communust occupants have killed more than 250.000 of martyrs. The forest Kurapaty near Minsk is one of the many places on the territory of Belarus, where victims of the Russian terror against our people have been killed and buried in 1917-41. It is possible to compare Kurapaty with Auschwitz and Buchenwald according to the big number of victims and of the large scale of the crime.

Who is responsible for the victory of the dictatorship in Belarus?

(Appeal to the leadership of the European Union and the OSCE)

During 2004 the anti-popular and illegitimate Lukashenka regime prepared its illegitimate «referendum» and «electoral campaign». At the same time the Conservative Christian Party - BPF appealed several times the Belarusan society and the political parties of Belarus notifying in advance the plans of the pro-Moscow dictatorship. Long before the start of the electoral campaign we have seen the danger of these plans: the regime would combine the referendum on the anti-constitutional questions and the elections to the «chamber of representatives» of the Lukashenka pseudo-parliament. We explained that the regime has the unique object - to preserve the power of Lukashenka. In order to do it the regime has decided to attract and to force the electors to the polling rooms using all the methods. Because of that the authorities have combined the elections and the illegitimate referendum. Already then we have declared that the society has the necessary method of the resistance against the dictatorship in this situation - i.e. the national boycott of the electoral farce and the illegitimate referendum.

The life of the Fighter for democracy Mr. Uladzimer Pleshchanka is in danger

(Appeal to the international society)

The anti-popular Lukashenka regime tries to intimidate the Belarusan society and to break the resistance of the persons which are struggling for democracy and independence of Belarus. During the preparation of the electoral campaign and during the illegal referendum and the electoral farce in September-October 2004 the regime has launched a campaign of repressions against the members of the Conservative Christian Party - BPF which appealed to boycott the electoral farce actively (and in accordance with the actual Law). Some of the our Party members have been illegally arrested and fined. The local authorities have demonstrated the special cruelty in Vitebsk. They are acting in style of the state terrorism against the Belarusan citizens.

Introduction. Historical survey

During the whole Belarusan history until the end of the 18th century Belarus was the shield of Europe in the East. The Belarusan Slavic principalities have united into the powerful state - the Great Lithuanian Principality (the GLP) or Litva (according to the name of the central Slavic tribe whose princes had initiated the unification of the Belarusan territories).
